Founded on February 14, 2005 in California, USA by 3 paypal former employees. The first ever Youtube video was uploaded on April 23, 2005 by one of the co-founders at San Diego Zoo.
In November 2006, it was bought by Google for $1.65 billion. Youtube has become a source of income for many (Youtube star “Grumpy Cat” in 2014 earned more money then Gwyneth Paltro !), many even consider it their full time job, from videos of cats falling to “vlogs” about the daily life of someone, every minute more then 100 hours of video are uploaded onto Youtube.
Youtube is the second most popular search machine in the world, it’s in 75 languages and contains 1/3 of all the people on the internet, its currently on 1 billion!
Currently the number 1 Youtuber is PewDiePie, a sweedish gamer, with 48,588,579 subscribers (and counting) and more then 13,566,933,039 views, his networth in 2016 is $78 million. Other famous Youtubers include Smosh, NigaHiga, Jenna Marbles and many others, who started making videos very early and ended up with such fame that nearly 1/3 of the world knows them.
But how did this all start? What makes a Youtube video so unique and likeable by so many?

Other then youtube she has accomplished quite a lot of things, she has spoke on expert business panels at the Canadian Media Producers Association, Playlist Live, VidCon and Buffer Festival. Plus she was a keynote speaker at the 2016 Women in Travel Summit. She has also worked with a variety of different brands by writing for them or making videos.
In December 2014, she was invited as one of the Top 130 of the most influential travel bloggers and digital media outlets to the White House to attend the White House Blogger Summit on Study Abroad and Global Citizenship.
Her approach to travelling is truly inspiring and the way she adds comedy and fun to everything she does makes you want to travel and do the same.
